Installation readme file for the IT Solutions GNU AWK DLL (GAWKDLL)

To install this package quickly using the defaults, run the following
command sequence:

	INSTALL.BAT

INSTALL.BAT will create the following directories and files:

	C:\GAWKDLL\			with subdirectories and files
	C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\AWKLIB.DLL
	C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\GAWK.DLL

The full installation of GAWKDLL involves the following steps:

	a)   Unpacking the Distribution File
	b)   Installing the Object Files

To do step a) manually, you need to copy GWKD20A.EXE to the place
where you want the GAWKDLL\ directory tree to appear and run the
self-extraction with a command sequence similar to the following:

	copy GWKD20A.EXE C:\
	C:
	cd \
	GWKD20A.EXE -e -d

Instructions for step b) can then be found in ...\BIN\BIN.TXT.

...\DOC\GAWKDLL.TXT, or, if you have WordPerfect for Windows 6,
in ...\DOC\GAWKDLL.WPD.  For WinWord users, a WinWord 2.0
version is available in ...\DOC\GAWKDLL.DOC.
